Cameras on Spacesuit Helmet?

Does anybody know how many cameras on are the

NASA Orlon spacesuit helmet? It looks like 3 to me.

  1. There is only one camera, the TV camera, and it is located right above the forehead on the helmet. (The black square to the right while facing the helmet). What you are mistaking for other cameras are just lights on the helmet.


  2. The Orlan (Eagle) suit is Russian, not NASA. NASA uses the EMU, together with the SAFER rescue system.

    What you see in the picture are mostly the spot lights for working inside the shadow of Earth. An EVA can take up to 8 hours, this means the ISS flies five times around Earth in that time and up to half of the time, the ISS is in the shadow / night side of Earth.
