Cameron White says Sunrisers Hyderabad did not play to their potential – Cricket news
Captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad Cameron White was disappointed after losing the IPL-6 Eliminator to Rajasthan Royals by four wickets at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium on Wednesday.
While speaking to media reporters after the match White said that his side did not play to its potential, adding that it was disappointing to go out this way.
“We did not play to our potential,” said the Hyderabad skipper at the post-match presentation ceremony after the four-wicket loss. “We played very well to register 10 wins this season, but it is disappointing to go out this way.”
“We will come back with what ever team we have next season and fight hard once again. This was a pretty young team and they did well as a unit,” added the Australian.

White said that the Royals played good cricket and deserved the victory. He also had a word of praise for Hodge saying the Victorian right-hander showed his true class. The Hyderabad skipper further said that it was a good toss to win, conceding that they
started the innings hesitantly and were 15 to 20 runs short of a par score.

“It was nice, I needed to get a few shots off the middle. Luckily for me, I started well. I was hitting the ball well, it has been a frustrating week for us, it was nice to dust it off and enjoy playing cricket,” stated Hodge at the post match presentation
