  1. They used to be known as the conservative and unionist party, due to their pro unionist policies regarding Northern Ireland.

  2. What else would the Conservative and Unionist Party do?

  3. The Cameron [former cyclist] needs all the help he can get in the Commons.  He is faced with a Labour Government which is backed by a massive Labour majority in the House.

Cameron can say what he likes and so he should, but he knows and so do all of us, that at the end of the day, when the chips are down, Labour backbenchers will back up the Labour Government come what may.

  4. The Ulster Unionists are a conservative party and many people from UU have went to Tories recently.

UU will look for a merger as they are on the way down.  It is going to further split and weaken the Unionist vote.
