  1. Just to let you know if you put the name before the title, it means she the ex wife so the proper way is the Duchess of Cornwall. Any lady is divorce and use to have a title put their first name before the title. Example Sarah Duchess of York, Dianna, Princess of Wales. Mary Countess of what ever.

  2. i think that's a good idea as she was one of the reasons  why Di and Charles split

  3. hmmmmm.....Camilla Duchess of CORN....hehehehe....how appropriate !   :o)

  4. I understand why she inst going to go. Frankly I don’t think Diana would want her there. I think  Lady Di referred to Camilla as the Rottwiler , so there was no love loss between them.

  5. A very sensible decision. She has been very tactful and stayed in the background. Not that it will make any difference, she will be criticized no matter what she does. Being the second wife is no bed of roses.

  6. Good for her. She made a good decision by not attending. Otherwise, everybody else would look at Camilla and wonder why the former mistress is there.

  7. GOOD!!!   There'd be a riot if that homewrecker showed up.  After all she did to hurt Diana, she should stay home and hide her face.

  8. I think she did the appropriate thing. She was the one who broke up the marriage so she shouldn't show.

  9. Personally i think she should have turned up, she was INVITED by William and Harry. Surely they should have the final say on who attend their own mother's memorial service.

  10. Wise decision.

It was never going to sit well with the majority of the public that the woman that ruined Diana's marriage should be attending her memorial as Charles' new wife.

  11. She was damned if she turned up and damned if she didn't. She was criticised for accepting, and criticised for taking so long in declining and as of tonight I hear her criticised for not turning up as the wife of the Prince of Wales. No matter what she does there are people to criticise her. Wonder how you could handle it? Much less your friends who have remarried?

  12. Absolutely the best thing she could have done.

She lives in the shadow of Diana.  The tabloids would have ripped her apart as well as the people who still love and admire Diana.

She was wise to not draw attention to herself and to let the  celebration in Diana's memory as the Mother of Prince William and Prince Harry and as "Princess Diana, the Queen of Hearts" go forward and not allow it to be besmirched with more tabloid fodder.

She cannot replace Princess Diana, nor will she ever gain the type of loyal devotion Diana achieved in her lifetime....

She deserves respectful admiration for her decision.  It shows character and good judgment.

  13. good for her! shez such a b****

  14. It's called etiquette, something Americans know nothing about.
