Camille Muffat of France pocketed gold medal in the Women’s 400m freestyle on initial day of the 2013 Sette Colli Trophy Meet in Rome, Italy on Thursday, June 13.
The French swimmer overpowered her opponents in the mediocre distance freestyle discipline as she cruised her way towards the finishing end for first position.
With her gruelling efforts, Muffat remained in a prominent lead over her opponents and surfaced on the finishing end for gold medal with an effort of 4 minutes and 02.64 seconds.
The champion was chased by Coralie Balmy of France, who was 3.09 seconds slower and transpired on the finishing wall for silver medal by touching the wall with an effort of 4 minutes and 05.73 seconds.
The second best finisher was chased by Federica Pellegrini of Italy, who was one and a half body length slower from her foregoing finisher and surfaced on the finishing end for bronze medal by producing an effort of 4 minutes and
07.37 seconds.
Fourth finest spot of the race was obtained by Lotte Friis of Denmark, who as only 0.80 seconds slower from her preceding swimmer and emerged on the finishing end by clocking an effort of 4 minutes and 08.13 seconds.
Fifth fastest spot of the race was obtained by Zsuzsanna Jakabos of Hungary, who was 1.35 seconds slower from her preceding swimmer and tapped the wall with an effort of 4 minutes and 09.48 seconds.
Sixth finest spot of the race was obtained by Martina De Memme of Italy, who was only 0.17 seconds apart and tapped the wall with the timing of 4 minutes and 09.65 seconds.
Seventh fastest spot of the race was obtained by Mutina Agnes of Hungary, who was 1.14 seconds apart and concluded her race in a time of 4 minutes and 10.79 seconds.
Eighth position of the event was obtained by Diletta Carli of Italy, who was 0.19 seconds behind and tapped the wall with the timing of 4 minutes and 10.98 seconds.
In addition, Muffat expressed happiness over her victory in the race while the position holders received medals and accolades after the race.
