Question:

Camp Rock 2 Auditions? (please read details)

I was thinking about auditioning for Camp Rock 2 when auditions become available, info.blogspot.com says that auditions are temporarily closed because they are revising the script. But I had a couple of questions:

1. Is is possible that if you have very little experience in acting but are a good singer you could still make call backs? In other words, would it be worth auditioning?

2. In addition to a resume and headshot, should i include a demo CD?

3. If so, what should i sing? Should i sing Disney artist songs or something else?

Thanks a lot!

  1. No you don't send in a demo c.d they don't want a demo c.d, read the rules.

    They want

    HEADSHOT and RESUME.

    No demo c.d

  2. 1. Of course you still have a chance. The only thing that really matters is how good you are at acting and your technique. And Camp Rock 2 is a musical kind of movie, so yes being good at singing will really help too. If you don't get a part, or a call back, don't worry. Acting isn't an instant thing, and there are always reasons to everything. If you don't get it it won't be because of your experience, it could be that your type of acting just didn't fit the characters available. Keep going. It's worth trying.

2.Yes sending in a demo CD is a great idea. Since this is a singing/dancing movie, I would send one in.

    3. You should sing any song that you are comfortable with and that flatters your voice. Remember this is their first impression of you so you have to make it memorable. It doesn't matter where the song is from. But if you have an idea of what type of character you want to play, maybe you should choose a song that is all of the above and reflects a little of that type of character.

I wish you the best of luck.

    I am trying out too!

  3. There's going to be a camp rock 2?? oh my goodness, isn't high school musical enough for pre-teen america?

  4. 1. Yes but its a very slim possibility that you'll get the part...but the main girl from hairspray never acted before

    2. Probably, or if you do an audition tape, sing on that too

3.Just sing any song that makes you sound GREAT and like if you want to play a  mean part, sing like a hard, mean song or if you want to be sweet try singing a mellow, slow, cute song.

    Good Luck!!!

  5. 1. Slim chance

    2. Sure sing

    3. It doesnt matter

  6. 1. It's possible, but don't count on it. Don't be discouraged if you don't get a callback, having very little experience usually means you aren't getting a role.

2.Unless they told you to send one in, no. They won't look at it.

    3. I'd stay away from songs by Disney stars, but try something of a similar style.

  7. 1.  sure sweetie this is a movie/music.it is worth auditioning.u can never tell who will be lucky just give it a try.

2.if u include a demo CD it could increase ur chances of  gettin the role.

3.it depends on which song u know best and feel cofident with.
