I think you may be confusing Campbell with Clothier.

Campbell hall is one of the three river dorms - with Frelinghuysen and Hardenburgh. It's usually reserved for upper classmen only, although I know Frelinghuysen is open to freshmen this year.

Clothier always has freshmen, and since it is a VERY large dorm, one of the largest, it does have a reputation for being a little out of control. All of the freshmen dorms though have their fair share of freshmen who are still getting used to being on their own and being able to do what they want. Clothier is no different.

Campbell on the other hand, is across from the library and allllll the way down the river, and is usually considered a very quiet dorm. It's very peaceful. Of course, in all dorms, there are things to do if you find them :)
