Campbell/San Jose tap water: safe to drink?

I live in Campbell and the water is gross. My skin is so dry after the shower and no matter how well I clean, the water spots are terrible. I will not and would not drink the water. Just recently they did some research on the Bay Area water supply and they were finding traces of anti-depressants and other medications, urine and fecal matter in the water.

Stick to bottled water!!!

Of course it is.  Compared to other countries, the US has some of the safest public water in the world.  Americans like to scare themselves with the latest fear, which is usually media driven.

Bottled water should be used as a convenience, not a habit.

Yes it's safe to drink, however if you're from somewhere else you might not be used to the water from that area and get sick.
