brilliant, that they have helped the team climb out of the bottom half and secure a spot in the top three in the league table.
Campbell is well aware of just how brilliant Van Persie has been, but he has also gone on to insist that the Gunners needs to spend big in the summers and bring in some positive reinforcements, or they could risk watching the player leave the club.
When talking about the situation that Van Persie and Arsenal are in, Campbell is quoted to have said: “Van Persie’s had an unbelievable season.”
"Arsenal need a few more players who want to take on the challenge, who are going to say ‘I’m going to make the difference this season’.”

According to a number of reports, Van Persie has already started suggesting players to Wenger, with hopes that the manager will follow up and make a move for them.

At the moment, Van Persie’s contract with the Gunners is going to run out at the end of the current season.
