I like it.

I'd like to see Tallon move Khabibulin to free up some cap space. LA has about $27 mil available and no goalie worth mentioning.  If the Hawks can't get rid of Khabibulin, they'll have to trade Lang or Havlat.

Lang to Atlanta for a prospect and possibly a pick. Atlanta needs to get a play making center for Kovalchuk. The Islanders need some scoring and have cap room. Maybe they would take Havlat. Another possible move would be Barker to a team like Tampa.

i am a sharks fan and i also saw this coming. He won't be missed he had a great regular season while he was with the sharks recording a point in almost every game but when it came to playoff time he pretty much disappeared.

I also as a sharks fan i do believe that it was coming sure its sad but although he was a good player during the regular season, he bombed like really really bad during the playoffs in fact i believe it was him who gave away the puck and actually caused the last goal that caused us to lose that ill fated Dallas series.

In my own opinion i believe since Steve Bernier is also a Group 2 free agent  (which means if he signs with another team, that salary that he gets determines what kind of draft pick his old team gets for him), that the sharks should just go ahead and resign him i mean he is young and has a ton of talent and i think that it would be in the best interest for the sharks to resign Bernier as he was not only an up and coming star but also was very humble and gracious for the chance to play at the NHL level, (i met him and he was so cool and always really nice to the fans, one of my favorite former sharks behind Mr. Mike Ricci )

well i'm a sharks fan & i kinda new it was going to happen. but hope he does well with the blackhawks even tho he was only a shark for a short period of time.

E.A. i do agree with you on that one. he played really well in the regular season then kinda disappeared.
