Camping Activities?!?

Question

I'm going camping soon, what activites can we do?

That's the thing I like about camping. You can do pretty much whatever you want. If you want to go for a hike - great. If you want to go swimming )assuming there's a lake) - wonderful. If you want to find a little place to watch wildlife - I'm sure that would be nice too. But if you just want to sit and read a book, that's alright. You do whatever you want to and just relax. If you wanted a little more to do you could bring a frisbee or some other outdoor activity like that.

Me personally, I go hiking and kayaking, and enjoy the wildlife along the way. If I'm at a campsite with biking trails I might bike a little. Or sometimes I'll just relax by the fire, and read a book. But for me it's all about being outdoors and getting way from the chaos.

Fires and stories are always fun. Capture the flag at night is also interesting. Most of the time when my troop goes camping, we sit around the fire and talk about whatever comes to mind. It's amazing what can come up in conversation. When we have nothing to say, we watch the magic of the fire's dance and enjoy quiet introspection about the day that has passed.

Wiener roast, marshmallow  roast, Ghost stories, hiking after dark, card games and what ever catches your imagination.

When I go, its either to hunt or to fish and normaly not around electricity. My trips usually last 3-6 days. So based on that.......

    At camp I always bring along:

          Plastic Horseshoe game

          Dominoes

          Card deck

          Softball gloves & ball

          Journal

          Spotting scope (for watching nature from afar)

i absoloutly love to go camping!!! some of my fave things to do are hiking, fishing, boating, swimming...etc. but a lot of your activities will be based off of where it is ur camping. for example, if ur not by a river or lake, u wouldnt be able to fish.

when u get there, u should check out the place and see what exactly u can do there. most campgrounds have like a visiters center or something with brochures or a map.

I'll make this short and sweet for you, the possibilities are endless, I like to take things from my home with me, my portable dvd player, handheld video games, a badminton set, volley ball, there are so many things ,just be creative, here this will help you, go here and then click on the right where it says CAMPING in blue..

I always take a few things camping:  a good book, a hammock or sleeping pad to lay in the shade, a frisbee (essential) and usually a glove and baseball for a little catch.
