Does anyone know a secluded tent camping spot in Florida? I live in Miami, but I just need to get away from everything for a while!

Thanks!

  1. I love to camp at Sebastian Inlet

It's very beautiful, the waves are always great (for Florida, that is), you don't have to completely rough it because they have showers and such.

It will probably be a bit more crowded then usual since it's summer, but it's still worth it.

  2. i go camping all the time in a state park its still fun even tho its not that woodsy

  3. Everglades is closest to you but the Ocala national Forest would be better

  4. go to a state park most of them only offer tent camping so there wont be many people there

  5. I would suggest heading down the tamiami to the "loop road" and camp out at the site of Al Capone's still , Pinecrest. Stop in at the iron gated church/store just out of town and have a beer with Lucky. This place is very remote.
