Question:

Camping in NH?

Im looking for a campsite in NH. The southern part of NH is preferred but anywhere you know of that has a good campsite will help. We camp with a tent and need no hookups. We also would like to be able to rent kayaks. ANY suggestions are greatly appreciated (as soon as possible). Thank you!

  1. Yay for camping, i just came back from camping in RI (where i live) and had a blast! We love it. Camping in NH is great because if you arent looking for hookup theres a bazillion places to go. if you're looking for scenic (not waterslides/picnic bbqs) then id go to a state park. Such as mount monadnock state park, great hikes too!

    Have fun!

  2. I don't know southern NH.  In  the northern part of the state I can recommend Northern Waters in Errol.  They have campsites on the Androscoggin river and rent kayaks and canoes.  They also run a whitewater school and have a shuttle service for river paddlers.  If you aren't into whitewater there is plenty of lake and flatwater paddling nearby.  There's also Mollidgewock State Park in Errol and Cedar Pond Campground in Milan.  The state park is a nice campground but they don't rent kayaks.  I don't know if Cedar Pond rents boats.
