Planning a camping holiday for August 2009. Will be travelling down to Narbonne on the Motorail. 2 Adults, 4 Children.

Any advice on whether France or Spain. Speak both languages equally well.

  1. France has a lot more quiet and secluded camp sites than Spain. My knowledge of Spanish camping grounds is that they have good facilitites and are clean and user friendly. They can be a bit rowdy (thanks UK tourists). French camp sites are equally good, but it is a lot easier to find peace and quiet and on the whole, there is less mis-behaviour from UK tourists as their average age is higher and the site owners are a lot less tolerant of bad behaviour
