the forcast calls for rain and storms on the day that im planning to sleep out in a tent with my friend. the tent hold 3 to 4 adults and when i slept in it the first time it was just me and my dogs. but, it had rained some that day and made it really hot. i want to be able to sleep in the tent without it being all hot and stuff. and how do you set up extension cords from a garage to the backyard without them getting ruined or wet during the night? alsoi already have a fire pit that we can sit around all night if we wanted to. advice? tips? greater suggestions? thanks

  1. You can put a fan in your tent. To keep water out of your extension cord wrap plastic bag aroung the ends around the pull ins. If you uses wood for your pit you can cover the wood if it rain. Then uncover it when it stops raining or you ready to use it. Hope it works for you. Have fun.

  2. if you have a rain fly for your tent cool it down by opening a window or door thats under the rain fly so the water will not get into the tent. if it rains you wont be able to have a fire but you can use a tarp to keep your wood dry and set it up above the ground.
