Camping spot location help in Northern California??

Question

In the first or second week of April my Sorority Sisters and I are going on a camping retreat and I need to find a location.

It has to be in the middle some where from CHICO, CA, FRESNO, CA and SAN JOSE, CA, so it's equal traveling distance for everyone. Cabin are a plus! however we are totally cool with bring our own tents. and it has to have a body of water..LOL.. Thanks in advance for all your help.

sans...lake berryessa is a cool spot....its about 2hrs from sf...north ...

healdsburg,ca.  the russian river runs through and there's a campground there and canoes and kayaks to rent.  go to riversedgekayakandcanoe.com

we take a big family trip there every couple of years and always have a blast.
