  1. I wouldn't take a pensioner or a child to benidorm as its dirty, noisy with the non stop drinking - its known in the UK as a alcoholics paradise, i was there in October and never again - its like sunny Blackpool.

  2. Hi you can get a list of hotels and apt at Holiday truths.com ,the new town is best for the clubs Levante beach side the pueblo ,the Ambassador the  Presidente  the Orange are all good hotels we are going in Aug we are going to the Ambassador .the Camposol is not  very good hope you enjoy Benidorm

  3. I have not been but i think i know where it is. and if it is in benidorm then there is not many hills about its quite flat.

I have a place just near benidorm and go over every month for a long weekend..

Give it a go. if its not for you at least you'll know for nextime and you can check out the other hotels where your there. for me though as hotels in benidorm go i would stay at hotel Venus..

    Enjoy Cain.

  4. Thoe South Costa Blana is probably a better option as it is more relaxing and due to the salt lakes the climate and air conditions are better in general brilliant for conditions such as atheritas and breathing problems. There are bars etc for yourself and places where the whole family are made welcome, you gain respect from the people in the area of all nationalities. if you want any detailed info feel free to contact me.

  5. in my opinion it´s not a good place for enjoy in benidorm. I have been in Deloix Hotel and its a good place for spend you holidays. If you want you can see de information about in http://www.dimehoteles.com/hotel-en-Beni...

  6. Hmmm... it's not great I'm afraid, and in my opinion, totally unsuitable for a pensioner as it's at the top of a hill.

Its also I'd say more suited to the Spanish. I can also tell you on very good authority that it's The Spanish who are allocated the nice rooms- the rest including those without balconies and the "interior rooms" which are rooms with a small window overlooking the inside of the hotel (no fresh air).

If I was your travel agent I'd say avoid it if you can. Its not a British holiday hotel, it's clean and air conditioned but it's location is unsuitable for those who are elderely or infirm and It's at best a 2 star property with very basic facilities. The pool is also in shade and might be a little cool for thin-skinned oap's.

I know Camposol is cheap, but it's cheerless.  I understand that for a pensioner budget is everything but I really feel this is false economy. Its more like a prison than a hotel and you'd be far better booking somewhere in the flat area in the new town.

Look at The Ambassador, The Orange, The Presidente, The Villa De Benidorm, Pelicanos/Las Ocas for a much better holiday. Its more expensive but instead of being cheerless, it will be very cheerFULL.

Benidorm is all about having fun, for what it's worth I think that if you're going to go on holiday, do it right, and don't scrimp and save with inferior accomodation.

I honestly think The Camposol will dissapoint and oap's deserve to be treated much better than this one will deliver.

Have you tried booking low cost flights and accomodation seperatley?

    Look at www.easyjet.com

and for accom & transfers www.medhotels.com, you might be able to get something much nicer doing a diy package.

All the very best of luck
