I love a spotless bathroom and soft scrub was my cleaner of choice, but i was scrubbing with it and noticed that I removed some of the finish off of the toilet seat. What is the most powerful cleaning agen I can use in the bathroom (or anywhere for that matter) that will not scratch anything?

I would also like something very volatile. I want that steril smell as it demonstrates to me that the room is clean kind of like how i like vacuum tracks on my carpet.

Thanks all!

  1. Bleach is the best bet for you.

  2. My favorite bathroom cleaner now is Lime Away.  Our local water basically sucks. We get spots and build-up really quickly on the tubs and sinks. The Lime Away gets rid of it all quickly:)

  3. I don't know what your finish is so you might want to test it on a small area first but i use an old spray bottle with a mixture of bleach and water it seems to get rid of most stains and i have the satisfation of knowing that bleach is a powerfull disinfectant and will even kill viruses, however be sure you have good ventilation if you try it it will smell pretty strong till it dries

  4. TSP works on anything!!

  5. The same thing happened to me! I absolutely love Simple Green, and cleans everything with ease. It's amazing stuff and it comes in a lemon scent. You can also try Mr. Clean or Lysol; they are not abrasive cleaners and they disinfect.
