We moved into a rental house and the landlord told us that he set it up so you can set different temperatures for the different floors. However there is only one thermostat. Is it possible that this one thermostat can control both floors separately?

  1. No. He may be able to install another one though. He'd also have to install zone dampers (or another furnace).
