Can 1st first cousins get married?

i am in love with my first cousin and we plan on getting married to eachother. we dont think any thing is wrong with that. And For All The People Out THere Who Want To Marry A Family Member Stand Up For What You Believe.

I didn't know this was such a controvercial issue! I thought that it had long been accepted that marrying a family member was not only WRONG, but its proven to produce mutant children!

As a person of intelligence, I say that anyone who still thinks this is OK should be shot on sight for the good a humanity and our future!!!!!  

I also noticed that those of you who posted on here that are in favor of incest can't spell anything right. Your parents probably married their cousin, and you wouldn't know right from wrong anyway. Can we please pass some laws to weed these people out of the population?!?!?!?!

Yes you can marrie your first cousin in the states that allow it there is 24 states some have rules that you can't have children together. Me and my boyfriend have been together for 9 years and have two wounderful boys they are smart boys they are not like what others say they will come out dumb thats not true and people that don't know anything about first cousins need to read up on it or keep there mouth shut. Do what you feel that is right for you to the people that don't know s**t about first cousins keep your dam mouth shut!!!!!

me and my first cousin love each other he means alot to me i lost my virginity to him.....recently are family find out about are relationship all of the family agree with it except my parents they separated us ..his in mexico and um here in the u.s.....but sice are love is so strong im fixing to follow him and be with him even though my parents dont agree with it..

I know cousins who got married and have 2 children. One was born with 6 fingers on each hand.  Apart from this seems normal.  The other child seems to have some hearing problem, he is almost 5 and cant talk.

Me and my cousin have been together for 8 yrs and we have two wondful boys and there is nothing wrong with my boys and they are NOT DOUMB people who don't know the facts should read up on it or keep there mouth shut and there is like 24 states you can get married in. Our family accept us they why we are and the love our kids to.So before people open there mouth should get the facts right. If you don't likewhat I have to say than don't read my post.
