I have a 10gallon tank and was wondering if i could house two baby corn snakes, there are two hides and when they get older i'm definitely going to move them to a bigger tank. Are cornsnakes cannibalistic? i kow males will fight but what about females? At petco they usually have 3 cornsnakes sharing a small tank(not even 10 gall. it seems) so im just wondering if this would be a big mistake or not? Most likely i will only get one just in case, but i still really want to know for future reference. Please and Thank You! :]

  1. No I wouldn't risk it. The reason at petco they have them housed together is because they don't care if the animals fight or get killed they are just saving space and trying to sell them fast.

  2. it can be done but it is a risk.  one could eat the other one even if they are the same size.  also i wouldn't buy a stuffed snake from petco.  the animals are usually not very long lived.

  3. NO
