Can 2 people ride on the yamaha xt250 dual purpose motorcycle legally?

as long as it has passanger foot pegs, it's legal in most states.

as long as you don't exceed the manufacturers recommended weight rating. there should be a sticker on the bike somewhere stating how much passenger weight the bike can handle.

Naturally I usto own an xt600 and anxt250 and anxt125 and I rode all over BFED egypt and I live in calif and never got an infraction for it till this day besides anything over50cc in engine size is considerd leagle tender for two people such as couples 50 state wide so have fun.
