  1. Yes. As long as you don't get mid water fish that can bite and nip at the feelers of a Gourami. Make sure that their tank is spotlessly clean, as Gouramis can contract diseases very easily.


  2. yes they can live in there as cories are mostly botom dwellers so your dwarves wont be bothered by them.

  4. OK here is the issue.  Gourami...including Dwarfs are in the same class a Bettas.  Males could fight and/or the dominate one in the tank could chase the others to submission.

    With 30 Gallons...it's going to be a wait and see.  If you have lots of plant cover you will probably get away with it.  But beware, they could go at each other or at least one dominating the others to submission and worse.  All I can say is have LOTS of plant cover and hiding spaces.  I have done this before with 2 Dwarfs and with enough plant cover...it worked...but eventually...I decided to seperate them...and they were happier for it.  So all in all I would not recommend 3 Dwarf Gourami.  However, you could get one Regular sized Gourami...Like a Kissing Gourami with your school of cories.

    As far as the cory cats...no issues with the Dwarf Gourami.  Get ya a school of 5 or so.  They also like lots of cover and hiding spots.

    Tank size with the Dwarfs is not an issue for these guys only get bout 2 to 2 1/2 inches.  The only thing bout tank size with more than one is territory.  You could get a mating pair...but again, lots of plant cover.

  5. Sure can, if you notice that they're getting big and might not have enough room, you might aswell give them to someone else or get a bigger tank.

  6. i wouldn't put more then a pair of dwarf gouramis in a 30 gallon tank, simply because of aggression and territory issues
