Can ''hard spun'' win in the belmont stakes?

Question

i heard its going to be 1.5 mile race,so a horse needs stamina.

i read a little about him,his mother was a winner in 1.5 mile race,and he's been called a relaxed horse,so if he maintains same speed can he win?

i really like him,i think he has a chance to be #1.

any thoughts?

only if he can get an uncontested lead and spin some slow fractions. I thought he would be in trouble in the preakness because I knew the Lukas horse was going to get the lead. it would have put too much pressure on him to get the lead. it doesn't look like he has learned to run a different style, yet.

He has a chance, and he is a sharp looking horse, but I don't think so. Not unless they can change his style of running. The Derby was hard for him, you saw how easily Street Sense passed him in both the Derby and Preakness. He would need to rate himself continously. he doesn't seem to have a good stanima build up. So if he has a good trip he might.

No.  I don't believe he can get the distance.

he might get loose on a easy lead and keep going the race yesterday he hit the 6 furlongs mark at 109 and change...if he can relax and go about 112 or slower that would be better, and then he could keep on going....

probably not, he will have to cruise on the front of a race that long...maybe go something like 1:11 or so, I dont think he will get a scenario like that...
