Can't Delete all temp files???!!?

Question

while I was seeing tips to faster the performance of the pc .. they told me to delete the temp (start-->run-->%temp%)

I can't delete all files ... it remains 5 files I can't delete them them .. when I delete them it gives me it's being in use with another program...

P.S: I an safe mode I don't find the files...

what should I do???

Those files are probably in use right now. There's no harm in leaving them for the next cleanup session. You should delete the files from your temp directory from time to time just because MOST of them are not needed anymore and are just taking up space.

Isn't it easier to use Disk Cleanup in administrative tools? After it calculates how much you can clean up you can just select temporary files.

You can only delete those files that are not in use at the time of deletion. Temporary files are created by the system to work fast. Once the system(and you) is done with them you can delete them. But while under use try not to delete. Then there will be no point in creating them altogether.

those files are in use by windows and can't be deleted

find a program called dr delete

it's small

You should open the task manager and go to Processes tab and check for the processes executing there that have the names of those files you want to remove. Hope this satisfy you, else sorry. Tell me if you have found the solution.

1st close all the application that are running, then u can delete all

the files in th temp

Some of the temporary files are created when you open a file and are deleted when you close this file. In such case you can't delete the temporary file as it is being used for the file opened.
