Can't Find Sims 2 Custom Content!?

Question

I have downloaded alot of stuff from thesimsresource.com and other sites such as hair make up and foods etc.. but i recently downloaded a coca cola and fanta vending machine that DIDN'T require a mesh according to the person sharing the object, anyway i enabled the custom content that was within the game on the pop up screen before you select a neighbourhood AND restarted the game and the objects were enabled, the hair and make up and foods work along with clothes i downloaded but i cannot find the coca cola vending machine anywhere on the buy or build mode in both residential or community lots, i was wondering if any can suggest why? you help is appreciated (:

I have a few items that never showed up. It's possible that it wasn't compatible with the EP's you have (or required one that you don't). If you have pets, many items don't work properly with it. It may have needed a mesh and the person posting it forgot to mention it. It might just be a messed up file.
