Can't Print document or photos?

Question

I have a Hp printer.

I haven't been able to print any document or photos.

Yes there is paper loaded, yes there is ink and yes everything is connected.

But, all of the document come up into the que but never print.

There is a orange arrow pointing down. That's literally the only thing that is going on with it.

Please help before i throw it out the window...

click start button then go to printers and faxes option and select your printer then see how many documents are u printing. Sometimes the printer is having too many pictures or documents to print, and it gets jamed. try cancalling all documents.

What type of HP Printer do you have?  Have your tried pushing the Pause Button or the Start button to start Printing?

Can u try changing the printer cable....??

SOme time defective data cables cause this kind of problems.. also check the printer is not paused in the printer control panel.

You may need to restart your print spool

Do this first

Start

Settings

Printers and faxes

Left click the printer icon. Here is where the prints are in queue

Most of the times you can't clear them, so

Start

Settings

Control Panel

Administrative tools

Click Service

Scroll to print spool, highlight and click stop

Now click restart

You may have to repeat this procedure
