Can't add a new cell number to yahoo! mobile with correct info...?

i've done this before successfully with other phones/carriers, but everytime i select my phone in step 3, the now i keep going back to the step 2 'Create Alerts on Your Mobile Device' prompting the 'Please enter a 10-digit phone number' even though the information is CORRECTLY entered. i just can't seem to move on to step 4. has anyone seen this happening?

I'm having the same problem as well, so it's not just you. (Using IE 6.0 on Windows XP)
