Can't afford quarck express, but would like a good (free) program for making lay-outs for books.

Any suggestions?

I have heard about Scribus, how is that program? Any other ideas?

I want to be able to create a magazine or a book with it.

Preferably a program that isn't too complicated to use.

  1. Scribus.  Just as good as Quark and free.
