Question:

Can't bend my elbows whenever I swing my golf club, i bring it half way up but cant take it above my head?

any feed back would be great I used to play hockey if that would make a differnce

  1. practise makes perfect


  2. You should only take the club back as far as you can comfortably go with your left arm being unbent.  I say unbent not straight because straight implies tension and you would like the arm to be relaxed.  I know many golfers that do not get the club above their heads but still hit the ball very well.  Trying to take it back too far causes many swing problems.
