Can't connect to an existing network: Help!!!?

After a storm we had a little bit of a network failure on one of our computers. There are three other computers connected to the network (one laptop and two desktops, plus this desktop one that won't connect). One of our computers will connect to the internet but refuses to connect to a network... How can we set it up so that it connects to the existing network so we can file share.

We have a database that needs to be accessed by all the computers... this one isn’t connecting to a network so we haven't been able to.

HELP!!

  1. I don't know if its the storm ;/

Try re-creating the network share //  Also if the computer was on a dynamic ip, try changing it to static so the next time it powers down and up, the rest of the computers will connect to the same share with IP Address x*x.x*x.x*x.x*x. every time no matter if powers up and down.

I hope this helps, good luck
