Can't decide what subject to teach. How can I decide?

I need to decide what subject to teach, but there are so many that I'm not sure which way to go. I am trying to find out if there is an online quiz or resource to help me decide or to show what would be best for me. Does anyone know a website that could help me narrow it down? thanks!

Social Studies, it covers everything.

What class in school was your favorite class?

Were you better with numbers or were you better at text.

Did you like to read aloud to the rest of the class.

Maybe a reading teacher.

I would def. pick a subject that sparks your interest.

If you are going to be teaching its going to have to be something that you find very easy to teach.

Ask yourself if you can see your self wanting to teach the subject a year from now.

Are you crafty- maybe art would be best.

Do you enjoy singing - maybe music class.

I do not know of a website but ask yourself these questions:

What classes did I enjoy the most in school?

What classes did I excel in?

What classes do I think I could teach and make it enjoyable?

what classes do I not want to teach?

I don't think there is a online quiz for this just think about what do you want to teach for the next 20 years..it is going to have to be something that isn't boring to you..

What are you interested in?  What is your educational background?

I have discovered that I could teach HS Business almost immediately because I have a BA in Business.  I could teach MS English if I take and pass a proficiency test.  To teach elementary school I'd have to go back and take 26 more basic knowledge credits.

You will teach best a subject you are interested in.  The kids will pick up on that.  In addition, you will want to keep up on that subject outside of class and therefore keep current on whatever subject it is.  Even math has new applications; you can pique the kids' interest in whatever subject by your own interest.
