Can't download itunes?

Question

i tried to download it but a box came out and it said that the itunes + quicktime installer requires windows xp service pack 2 or later and to install the latest windows xp service pack and to use windows update. i don't understand and then when i try to update i can't i go to this address http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupd... but it doesn't work i don't know how to update ahh

Go to http://www.update.microsoft.com/ and it will perform a check on your computer to see if you need any updates. After that, try the iTunes setup again and all problems should be resolved.
