We ordered this dish last time, but can't remember the name:

Basically it was small bits of chicken, about an inch long and half an inch round, battered in this crunchy yellowish batter, with a chilli/salt/pepper kind of taste? It also had bits of spring onion in it if I remember correctly, the little green bits? We've already scoured the menu for it and also rang the place and they couldn't figure out what it is. Any ideas would be great!

  1. Maybe Chinese chicken nuggets...they have no sauce and are battered and fried.

  2. not too sure, could be spicy chilli battered chicken *kung po*. its not sechzaun chicken by any chance? its a chilli dish.

  3. sounds sweet n sour chicken because they batter fry the chunks

was there a orange dipping sauce for it?

  4. What you described sounds like Salt and Pepper chicken...

Usually a deep fried dish served dry (no goopy sauce) but is topped with minced green onions, fresh chile peppers and garlic.

I've also had Salt and Pepper Squid, Salt and Pepper Shrimp and Salt and Pepper Pork ribs (which were more like thinly sliced pork chops).  All of which are very good.
