Can't find bt yahoo sidebar?

I have recently lost the sidebar from my BT Yahoo account and I find it really frustrating particularly when it took me so long to get used to it in the first place! Any thoughts on how I get it back please?

Hi.  If you've moved from Windows XP (etc) to Windows Vista then you won't get the sidebar any more.  Although there was a long lead-time for Vista, BT Yahoo! (or is it BT?.... I lose track of who's responsible for what!) have not come up with a Vista compatible version of their browser.  SO you need to use Explorer - and the sidebar just isn't available.  If you haven't moved to Vista then forgive my attempt at an answer.

At top of the screen you will see a tag marked 'sidebar'

cilck on it then click on 'show' or press' F8'
