Can't find certain email address on my Yahoo?

When I type in a business email address, it comes up "can't find search". What am I doing wrong?

It doesn't recognize it so it may not even be there anymore or they just won't include it on the search.

the email address  may be  private, nothing you are doing  wrong  if its private then it isn't in directory
