  1. check around all gaskets where metal is bolts on metal ontop and under the engine after the engine is fully warm you can usasly spot stuff dripping from it then

careful on the exaust pipes not to touch engine or exaust until it cools but just look while its hot

  2. Mine was the PCV valve, it made oil blow out of the cap where you fill the oil and also the back of the car was real greasy.  How fast is it leaking, is it overheating.  I also have a small leak on the distributer cap seal, which I will have fixed next week.  It isn't leaking really bad.  It is hard to fix leaks yourself with out a shop.  Is there a community college nearby that has automotive classes, they might fix it for you.  You could also look for a small privately owned shop, hopefully one you have a referral to from someone you know and trust, they might let you make payments or not charge you a whole lot.

Dont forget keep checking and topping off your oil.  good luck

  3. Are any or your family or friends budding mechanics or are car enthusiasts.  they may be able to track down your oil leak and fix it at a fraction of the cost.  Be sure to keep an eye on the oil level in your car until the problem is resolved as you do not want to run out of oil and cause more damage.

  4. clean your engine and under the engine thoroughly and just keep looking

  5. Take your car to an authorised dealer or a reputed auto service center.

Ask the technicians to dismantle the engine block and empty the oil.

Then ask them to fill the crankcase with compressed air.

After a minute or two you'll be able to hear a hissing sound or maybe even feel the air leaking. That's the point of leakage.

Incase if you cant hear or sense anything, apply soap lather all along the joints. The leak point will immediately show up as bubbles between the lather.

  6. You could try tightening the oil pan plug.

  7. Lay a piece of cardboard under the car and see were the drip is coming from.

Check the oil pan gasket and/ or the drain plug.

Does it leak a lot or a little
