Can't get my computer to connect to my router?

The router is connected to the computer through ethernet. My computer is connected to sprint mobile broadband through a usb modem. other computers can connect to the router, but the router won't connect to my computer. so other machines can't connect to my internet. Can someone please help me?

  2. To get this to work, your computer will have to be set up to Internet Connection Sharing!  Traffic from your USB sprint card to your ethernet is NOT being passed to the router!  

    SO first setup ICS on the USB connection (assuming your running windows here). Since you didn't say what operating system you are running just do a search on Microsoft.com for ICS or Internet Connection Sharing.

    Once that is setup you should be able to use your router off the ethernet port. (Be sure the ROUTER has its DHCP ranges set to a different range than your ICS connection range or connect to a LAN port and turn DHCP off in the router!)

    This is really NOT the best way to do this.  A much better way is to use a Sprint Card and a 3G router! Like the one shown here
