Can't get "restore" date?

Question

Why won't my computer restore back to an earlier date? I go thru the motions and it tells me it won't restore. I've clicked on three bold dates and nothing works.

Try restoring in the safe mode

I had the same problem and I have never been able to fix it--I had to reinstall windows--but if you do have to reinstall then make sure you get norton system works because it has norton goback and it always works

Then it's probably corrupted in some way.  Restoring to an earlier date usually just messes everything up anyway.
