Can't get rid of background?

Question

I deleted all of the special codes and stuff on my myspace so it would be the default. But when i went to my profile the background was still there?

then i tried puting in a layout and the background that i want to get rid of is still there.

the background i want will show up for 2 seconds and then it switches back to the one i don't want.

Help?

Did you save the changes? Everytime that you edit something you have to save the changes.
