Ok - first - I am NOT buying this car, so don't think i'm that crazy! lol I'm only curious, as I have *never* seen such a thing! lol

Ok.. Test drove a pretty little 99 Sunfire today. I liked it, but it had one major flaw.

When you go t get gas, you can't get the fuel nozzle into the car's fuel spout thingie all the way, only maybe 1/2 way. Then, you have to squeeze VERY lightly, or it throw fuel back out at ya!! It takes forever to just put a few dollars worth in.

Anyone ever hear of such? What could be causing it?

Yeah.. It's a 99 Sunfire, cracked windshield, needs rotors, take 3-4 cranks to start, and then this problem. $4000 non-negotiable!! OMG.. lol Crazy.

  1. Have you given up on the cavalier? Interested in selling it?

  2. I'm glad that you're not buying that, the car might be worth $400 but $4000???

The problem is either that someone has pried the opening and bent some sort of tab into the way, or you tried to put diesel fuel into the tank, in which case the owner will be pissed!

  3. unless you were trying to put diesel in it i never heard of that. that price is like 2000 more than the car is worth.

  4. My first suggestion would be to not put diesel fuel in a gas powered vehicle...it has a bad tendency to make them stop running . Second I would suggest that you not buy that beat up pile of wreckage. you can buy alot more car than that for 4 thousand dollars.
