Can't get to top bunk of a bunk bed.?

Hi... I am in college and I am on the top bunk. I;m super short however and I can't reach, step ladders are too short... I went out and bought a real ladder but I don't have enough room to keep it open all the time, any ideas?

Ask the person in the bottom bunk if you two could switch, or you could ask the person in charge if you could get another dorm where they have an available bottom bunk.

Go to a store where they sell loft or bunk beds

and ask them if you can buy the ladder that the bed has...

just the ladder... I don't know if they'll let you...

but usually they will. And the ladder is like the perfect size

and easy to store too

get an emergency ladder, like what  you hang out the window in case of a fire

you know those crates that they use to hold milk cartons and such?

get a few, theyre inexpensive

stack em, mimick stairs, and tada? lol

lol i had the same problem. i noticed that bunk beds in most colleges are really weird. any way i dont think it has to do with your height because im not even that short and i was having a problem . getting down more then getting up there actually. so use like a chair,, every night use it to climb up then leave it there to jump into in the morning lol. in my head i want to tell you to create some rope sort thing, and use it to swing down like tarzan lol but that would be to much work. good luck tho

put dresser next to step ladder so it can give you the extra height

Have your lower bunkmate give you a flip up to your top bunk.

One of those small trampolines might help.  Just watch bumping your head on the ceiling.
