  1. for hibernate ...c drive should have free size equals to size of RAM so.. so first free up your hard disk..and try again..........

  2. This problem occurs because the Windows kernel power manager cannot obtain the memory resources that are required to prepare the computer to hibernate.

To prepare the computer to hibernate, the Windows kernel power manager requires a block of contiguous memory. The size of this contiguous memory is proportional to the number of physical memory regions that the computer is using. A computer that uses lots of RAM is likely to use more physical memory regions when the computer prepares to hibernate. Therefore, a larger amount of contiguous memory is required to prepare the computer to hibernate.

Additionally, the number of physical memory regions varies according to the programs, services, and device drivers that the computer uses. Therefore, the hibernate feature occasionally fails.

When the Windows kernel power manager detects that the hibernate feature has failed, the hibernate feature remains disabled until you restart the computer.

  3. hibernation minim need at least 300mb space on the drive on which the windows is installed. check your free space. try increasing the pagefile size go to system properties>advanced>performance setting>advanced>click onchange>select coustom size>increase size>click on set. it should not be more than maximum size

hope it will help you.. good luck

  4. You don't have enough space on your hard drive.

When a laptop goes in to hibernation it saves all the data on the hard drive and then brings it all back when you turn it on.

Free up some space on your hard drive buddy :)
