  1. If you have anything less that Windows XP Sp2, it won't let you download the newest version.

  2. update windows

  3. your not a real person

  4. it all depends on what type of messenger you are using and what computer windows xp and vista are mostly compatible with the newer versions of msn. When you get a computer usually it already has msn messenger uninstalled so you have to install it automatically it would say eg. would you like to install the newer messenger say like msn live 8.0 or something when they have come out with it. If not you can go to the place where you got your computer to see if anything you are doing is wrong

  5. well mayb ur computer does support da new msn...

so if u reall need 2 go on it dat bad u can use meebo.com

uts pretty good u have aim...yahoo....msn...n google talk all on one web site

  6. maybe you should update your windows i had the same problem with itunes

  7. This is most likely a compatibility problem. If you are using any version of windows below Vista, I don't think the newest version will work on your computer.

You should try downloading a previous version of MSN Messenger if you are running XP. Like, not the most current version, but the version before it.

You can download previous versions of software from one of my favorite websites:

    www.oldversion.com

Here is the MSN Messenger section: (the newest version is listed at the bottom of the list)

    http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=...

Try the second most newest one, if it doesnt work the make your way up the list until one works. If you are running an old version of Windows like 2000, you might have to get some of the earliest versions.
