  1. As someone else says, read the manual, BUT connect to the router using an ethernet cable first. Then use that connection to configure the wireless on the router and the computer. Disconnect the cable and presto the wireless should fire up (may need to reboot). Configuring a wireless router using a wireless connection WILL drive you insane as every change you commit will disconnect the wireless forcing the computer to re-acquire it, madness!.

Its often necessary to completely switch off everything to make this stuff work. And not just click off, click on either. Leave it off for at least 10 seconds.

  2. RT(fine)M:

    ftp://downloads.netgear.com/files/wgr614...

  3. just re instal windows and start all over so you are sure nothing blocks it

remember to make backups of all your drivers instaled becaus if you dont you have a problem that you cand instal you web driver or whatever it is called and you cant go online to download it becaus you dont have it instaled XD

when you reinstaled windows 1st install your drivers from the backup then instal your wirless router

then instal security prorgams and turn on fire wall

P.S. do you have a wirless adapter so your comp recives a signal?

if you dont then forget all things i sai and run to the nearest hardware store and buy one :P

then that should fix the problem

if then still it does not works remember every thing i said before again XD

  4. Start from scatch agian. Go back to a restore point on your cpu that was before the Norton.

    Restart the router and software.

Everything should be back to normal.

I wouldnt use Norton. There are alot of issues with it.
