Can't open Limewire. Anyone happen to know what might be going on with Limewire?

I had Limewire pro & it wouldn't connect...but yet it worked fine a couple days ago. So I deleted my Pro version & downloaded the free version in hopes that would work...it still doesn't work! Either that, or does anyone know where I could get free music downloads other than Limewire?

does it not open or just not connect and get files to share. But i would go to www.oldversions.com and get the p2p program bearshare get the 5.xxxx version in the highest version #. I have used bearshare for over 5yrs with no viruses yet. I have go over 50k songs and 1500 movies with no problems. If limewire does not even open/start then its not limewire it's your computer. If it wont connect  your firewall might be blocking the access to the p2p network. Thanks
