Can't play back on my Charter DVR?

Question

I can still watch live tv, but when I pause, and push play or the live button, it just goes to a black screen. Also, when I play my recordings, it's a black screen and then I have to turn off the box and it comes back to a live picture.

It's a Mortorola dvr box. I believe my bill is paid up to date.

Any ideas?

call charter and have the box replaced.
