Can't post to freecycle?

I've been a member since 2004 but I've never been able to get the post function to work. Have had a lot of good stuff to offer, but it won't work. When I go to the member page, the post option is not highlighted.

You can also send an email with your offer. Look at the bottom of the home page, and it should say "to email" and give an address like [e-mail].

Other thoughts:

When you go to the home page, have you logged into your Yahoo account? You must do so to post.

Could your email address be bouncing? Yahoo sometimes does that apparently randomly. When you log in, there will be a red alert about bouncing near the top. If that is happening, the link will take you to where you can request reactivation.

I agree with the other answerer, email your group owners/moderators and have them check your account.

Contact the group owner via email and ask him/her to check your personal group privileges to see if the "Post" feature is turned off.  The list owner's address will be at the bottom of group's home page.
