Question:

Can't read aloud

So up until i was about 14 i was a great reader,i did readings at school meetings etc until one day in class when my teacher asked me to read my answer aloud my problem arose. It's like im conscience of my breathing whileim reading so i can't get enough air or sumting :s I'm 17 now so you can imagine how embbaresing it'd be to you if half way through an a4 page reading you began gasping. advice?!?

  2. You have developed  a fear of reading in public and it is very common. The easiest way to over come that fear is to practice.  I have a Nintendo DS and part of the Brain Age program is reading out loud.  Well I can now get up in front of anyone and read rapidly and clearly. I practice once a day for a month and now you can not stop me when I am reading in front of a group.  

  3. dont read aloud. just tell ur teacher u arent comfortable reading that way
