  1. If you are just trying to run for enjoyment and exercise then do it.

Run easy, slow enough so you can talk, when you feel like walking then walk until you feel like running again.

If you will do this at least 3 to 5 times each week in a month you will be able to run the entire distance.

Then  you can think about running faster, longer, or more often.

Relax, take deep breaths, don't pant or gasp, don't worry about how you breath or how the air gets inside, just breath.

  2. you can be whatever you put your mind to, you need to lose the negative mindset about can't run, and turn it to can and will, key is start off slowly , and build it up, make sure you eat well, and rest properly, also see your GP make sure your asthma is under control etc, and then go for it, enter into a short distance race ie 5k or something like that

  3. The great thing that draws alot of people into running is that anybody can do it, and i mean anybody. Its only natural that u get tired on a mile. u want to start small, mabye not even a mile. You can go to a track and jog laps. You should eventually find out how much u can do.

Then, you can up your distance a little, but dont go at it hard, yet. Just run easy, and keep uping your distance little by little and in no time you will be able to run a mile easy.

Now u will discover that u can run harder. You can start running your miles at a little bit faster pace every day.

Now ur in shape, regularly jog, eat healthy, and run some 5k races. They are tons of fun.

This is wat i do and i am a very good middle school runner.

I started jogging different courses around my neighborhood till i found a long enough course  to run faster and faster on. Now, every day i run about 3.5 miles as if I were racing competitively, timing myself with my watch.

Hope my advice helps u and I know u can become a runner!

P.S. the website http://www.runnersworld.com/ is a very good site with tons of advice, motivation, plans, and stories of runners like u.
